- 12 Slices of smoked salmon
- 12 Slices Rye Bread or Blinis
- 4 Ounces Cream Cheese Softened
- 2 Tablespoons Sour Cream
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice Fresh
- 2 Tablespoons Dill Fresh & Finely Chopped
- 1 Tablespoon Capers Rinsed & Drained
- 1 Teaspoon Dijon Mustard
- Black Pepper Freshly Ground To Taste
- Lemon Zest for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the Cream Cheese Spread:
- In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, sour cream, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and chopped dill.
- Stir well until smooth and creamy.
- Add freshly ground black pepper to taste.
Assemble the Canapés:
